Four years ago, on April 14, 2022, @sowingopportun Four years ago, on April 14, 2022, @sowingopportunities 's #greenhouse #agriculture project began in the remote, #indigenous village of Chajmaic, in Northeast Alta Verapaz, #Guatemala.

Here, the 30 participants of the pilot program are selecting seedlings for the greenhouses that they built by hand, under the guidance of our agricultural engineer.

In January 2026, @sowingopportunities ’ agricultural work in the six public primary schools began. Our team has already made two trips to the region 

Because we are now servicing four villages and six public primary schools, there will be eight trips in total this year.

En enero del año 2026, dió comienzo la labor #agricola de @sowingopportunities en las seis #escuelas primarias públicas en #Guatemala. Nuestro equipo ya ha realizado dos viajes a la región.

Dado que ahora prestamos servicio a cuatro #Aldeas y seis escuelas primarias públicas, este año se realizarán ocho viajes en total.
