The key reasons that the plants are growing so tall and healthy are:

- They regularly water and apply fertilizer and insecticide
A very important point here is that this school is located within the town of Fray Bartolomé de las Casas, so it has access to water, and that’s crucial.
In all other regions, our biggest problem is the lack of water (especially in the summer).
But this school has water access through plumbing, so irrigation is constant and reliable—it makes a huge difference.
