The students at Fray school in Guatemala are enjoying a very special Christmas present: a harvest grown especially so they will have food during their month-long holiday break.
The amazing thing is that the seedlings for these crops were planted only two weeks before Thanksgiving. This is incredible growth, due to the techniques and dedication of the team, students and teachers! And, it is thanks to your donations that this is possible at all!
The teachers, together with our team, are ready to sow new harvests in the school’s seven greenhouses when the students return in January. You can support families in need in this remote indigenous region of Guatemala through a direct one-time or recurring donation (which we especially love!).

A reminder that we have a matching grant! If you donate now through December 31, your donation will be doubled to expand greenhouse agriculture programs in the villages and schools of Eastern Alta Verapaz, Guatemala.
