“Our Power, Our Planet!” Sowing Opportunities is taking a positive stand for sustainable agriculture and the protection of the health of the people we serve! We listen to their needs, teach them about effective actions, and amplify their voices!
Caring for the earth is deeply significant to the people in the villages and public primary schools of Northeast Alta Verapaz, Guatemala, especially since their greenhouses are prospering, showing such promise for their futures.
From the special organic soil additive to the way that all aspects of the greenhouse process support the Earth while supporting the people who use them, the indigenous methods are enhanced to support the people in the region.
In the villages of Chajmaic, Salaguna, Sisbilhá, and La Nueva Libertad; in the six public primary schools in the region, there is real progress being made in this resilient region. They participate fully in innovation, the education of their young, mentoring one another, and community problem-solving.
