Fund a greenhouse, change a life

November 26, the Tuesday before Thanksgiving

Dear friends and family,

The mostly women-led indigenous communities in the Eastern Highlands of Guatemala live a subsistence life.

Since 2022, Sowing Opportunities has been providing sustainable greenhouse agriculture so that, rather than being hungry, they are able to feed their families … with nutritious food that provides diversity and interest, giving them energy to be innovative and motivate one another.

They now have an economy, where they’re selling their surplus vegetables in the market, and are therefore able to provide for their families’ basic needs.

Please mark your calendars: Over the next five weeks, beginning with Giving Tuesday (December 3), we will be sending a series of seven emails, introducing you to the families who are benefitting from the greenhouses project. It is thanks to your donations that this is possible.

Thank you so much!
